Anchor Orthodontics is hiring an administrative assistant to join our team!

We are looking for someone who is reliable, values patient-centred care, and is able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment. 
 
Primary Duties:
  • Checking patients in, ensuring their patient information is complete, booking and rebooking appointments
  • Ensuring financial accounts are up to date
  • Ensuring call-list patients are contacted and booked as necessary
  • Making every effort to ensure the schedule is filled
  • Being available during open hours to answer incoming calls and emails
  • Making outgoing calls to referring doctors/professionals as directed/necessary
  • Maintaining tidy, clean, and organized work areas
  • Ensuring basic office supplies are stocked and accessible
  • Assisting with counting and organizing inventory as required
  • Accepting incoming deliveries and coordinating outgoing shipments
  • Assist team members in the clinic as required
  • Help other team members keep common areas (i.e. kitchen, staff change room, etc.) clean and tidy

Qualifications:

  • Technologically inclined
  • Punctual
  • Comfortable on the phone
  • Dental/ortho experience an asset, reception experience preferred
  • Social media management an asset

Work hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm, 27-30 hours per week.

Hygiene Coordinator

This position is responsible for maintaining the hygiene schedule and our patient recall system for 5 hygienists.

Duties will include calling patients and scheduling appointments as well as answering the phone and helping with patient queries.

Knowledge and or experience in this area is preferred.

Salary $20-$25 per hour. Other benefits included medical insurance, RRSP contributions, paid sick days as well as an incentive bonus program.

Flexible hours 35-40 per week.

Knowledge of Dentrix and recall systems.
